Kalifield is in the Saraland City school district which has received many national awards including AdvancED Education and National Blue Ribbon awarded by the U.S. Secretary of Education. In January 2018 the Elementary school was awarded the prestigious  National Title 1 Distinguished School awarded to only 63 schools in the nation.
